How we verify our companions
Every companion completes our verification process before their profile is published. The checks completed are displayed clearly on each profile.
Our verification checks
- Identity verification — government-issued photo identification is reviewed and matched to the profile.
- Enhanced DBS check — an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate is reviewed and the date of review recorded.
- Right to work in the UK — eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is confirmed in line with Home Office guidance.
- References — a minimum of two professional or character references are obtained and reviewed.
Ongoing standards
